Western State University College of Law Gains Full ABA Accreditation

In 2009, Western State University College of Law received full accreditation approval by the American Bar Association (ABA). Full ABA accreditation is one of the strongest testaments the College of Law can receive regarding the quality education it is providing to a diversity of students. It also speaks volumes to the commitment the school’s faculty, staff, and administration have made in the future of Western State. William E. Adams, Jr., Dean of Western State University College of Law, said of the ABA accreditation, “Not only have we demonstrated our compliance with the high academic standards that have been set before us, but we also feel more confident than ever that our graduates will be well-prepared to serve the legal community with excellence and a deserving sense of pride.” Western State University College of Law was founded in 1966 and is the oldest law school in Orange County with more than 10,000 alumni.
