CHAIR OF THE CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM
The Clinical Psychology Program chair oversees both a master’s (M.A.) in clinical psychology and a doctorate (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology. All programs follow a practitioner-scholar training model, with the doctoral program having an integrative theoretical orientation. Duties include program administration, hiring, and supervision of faculty, teaching, advising, curriculum development, student recruitment, guiding initial programmatic APA accreditation planning and implementation, and liaison with local educational institutions and field placements.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program, five to seven years of post-doctoral experience, licensure as a psychologist, an established record of excellence in the education and training of psychologists, preferably in an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, and management experience.
